In this installation I teamed up with my immediate family members Margaret, Bob, Neil, Liz and Skip to illustrate the word root* using found and natural objects such as maps, scientific drawings, letters, poetry, reclaimed lumber, wood turnings, dna samples, and plants…creating a feeling of discovery and shelter that welcomes viewers to explore their roots.
